BACKSTAGE BEAUTY: KCFW

What happens when you combine an arsenal of MAC Cosmetics, several cans of hairspray and beautiful models? Something simply amazing. I've worked with jewelry designer, House of Cochon on the production of fashion shows for five years now. And it only gets better each time. Kansas City Fashion Week is no exception. Instead of enjoying the shows as a blogger, I was in my element backstage assisting with the chaos of getting the models runway ready. For me, it's so much more fun to see it all come to life. Here is a look at the backstage beauty process before the show.
House of Cochon worked with an amazing hair and makeup team comprised of Andy Chambers and his assistant Katie with MAC Cosmetics. For hair, the ladies of Salon Adiktd led by Jennifer May curled and teased the models treases to perfection and topped off a few looks with intricatly adorned yarn. So good, right?

p.s. I'll be sharing a few more looks both on and off the runway. For more on Kansas City Fashion Week, check out their Facebook page here.
