I've been dreaming {more like obsessing} over warm weather lately. And when I saw the swoon-worthy runway images from the Valentino Fall 2013 RTW collection, I certainly felt that there is something to look forward to. Even though they are part of the fall collection, how can these gorgoeus gowns in the perfect blue hues not make you feel a bit more cheerful?
Side note: I've never been a "blue" kind-of-girl. In fact, if you look into my closet, there are only a few pieces hanging in the hue, beside my denim collection. I guess I always thought that as a brunette, bright corals and reds compliment my skin tone and hair much better than any cool, blue shade. I think I have changed my mind. Hair color aside, I'm ready to add this hue to own wardrobe after seeing the bold, intricate floral patterns & designs.
And since I don't exactly have a Valentino budget, I plan to get the look with a few much more wallet-friendly pieces in similar patterns and shades. Starting with this blue floral blouse and this pair of floral denim.
What do you think - are you feeling blue?
Sigh....that first print is absolutely gorgeous! I used to have a dress like that as a little girl, and I look back at pictures and wish I still owned it!
