Swoon. This bride-to-be followed the runway shows and activity surrounding NYC International Bridal Fashion Week, perhaps even more so than NYFW. Yep, I said it. So, of course I had to share a few of my favorites.

JLM Couture bridal house is one of my ultimate loves. {Hint: I even picked my own wedding dress from one of their collections!} I mean, Lazaro just killed it for me. Killed it. They moved away from traditional whites with subtle shades of gray and adorned the gowns in intricate beading. Plus, I love the feathers and fuller skirts that graced the runway.  I could go on for days. Speaking of breaking from tradition, Vera Wang proved she is so over white with a collection filled with fiery red and punch-y pinks. I do appreciate her craftsmanship and these gowns added a little fun to bridal wear. Perfect for an out-of-the-box bride! Backtracking, I am a total traditionalist myself. Yes, I went with an ivory gown and love the romantic and timeless looks. Monique Lhuillier brought a modern twist to the classic gowns we all know and love. And who doesn't like a little lace?

  1. I fell in love so many dresses (there was a gold number that had my name all over it...reception dress??) after looking at all the instagram feeds from NY Bridal Week! I tried to stay away as I already have my dream dress, didn't want to even be tempted :)

  2. I know, me too! I just love looking --- it doesn't hurt, right?

Thank you for stopping by! xo ECS
